Paths to the unknown can be very poetic. They are used in a lot of art and literature. For me paths lead me to wonder what lies ahead. It is great story making. To have pathways shrouded in fog adds to the mysteriousness of that iconic image. It symbolizes for me that the future is foggy and most times unclear. We rarely know what lies ahead. Where I find light breaking through that fog, I feel a sense of hope as in my image, Komorebi, which is Japanese for "light breaking through trees." In my image, The Journey, an elderly man walks down a totally fogged in path. This image symbolizes to me the uneasiness of growing older, not knowing how far the path may go and what will be found along the way or what lies ahead.
